TRUNC

Syntax: TRUNC(X[, N])

X = a number whose value is to be truncated
N = number of digits to which to truncate X (optional)

Returns the value X truncated to N decimal places. If N is omitted, it is assumed to be 0.

Examples:

TRUNC(3.14159, 2) = 3.14

TRUNC(3.14159) = 3

TRUNC(-3.14159, 2) = -3.14

TRUNC(17.894) = 17
