STRING

**Syntax:** **STRING( X, N)**

*X* = a numeric value

*N* = a numeric value

**STRING** returns the string representing the numeric value
of *X*, formatted to *N* decimal places, where *N* is in the
range 0 to 15. The results are rounded.

**Examples:**

**STRING**(2, 4) = ``2.0000''

**STRING**(``2'', 4) = ``0.0000''

**STRING**(**SUM**(A1..A3), 1) = ``1.7'', where A1 = 0.33, A2 =
0.55, and A3 = 0.77
