MSQ

Syntax: MSQ(argumentlist)

argumentlist = any combination of numbers, cells, or ranges

MSQ returns the mean of the squares of its arguments. Blank cells and cells containing strings are not counted. The function is given by:

\frac{1}{N} \sum_{i=1}^N a_i^2
\end{displaymath}

Examples:

MSQ(-9, -3, -5, 0, 1) = 23.2

MSQ(F10..F14) = 20.4, where F10..F14 = 2, 2, 3, 6, and 7

MSQ(D1..D6) = 2373.6667, where D1..D6 = 4, 56, 33, 100, 0, and -1
